Being a show dedicated to stationery, it was no surprise to see that London Stationery Show, that took place last week, was full of life and a very dynamic retail show. The perfect combination for Bi-Office to present to its visitors for the first time its solutions to create meaningful spaces for the office and modern educational spaces.
Nevertheless it was a pleasant surprise to interact with a mix of visitors – members of partner dealers groups, education resellers, wholesalers/distributors from Ireland and the UK, some overseas visitors, from Baltic States, Turkey and Greece – and to see the endless new opportunities that the show could bring to Bi-Office. Over both days, there were always people with a great curiosity and interest for the products exhibited, and there were times when in the middle sidles it was heaving with people.
The Material in the Spotlight: Cork
We all know that cork is an extremely appreciated super material for home and office supplies and décor. So it only made sense that it was the focus and the most wanted material at Bi-Office stand. The brand is working with cork since its beginning and, now, it is still one of the key materials of the small office and home office assortment. Visitors were surprise to see the elegant touch that this Portuguese material gives to boards and decoration. There’s no reason not to have a stylish and creative office, while having products that enhance performance and comfort at the same time. And cork boards can do exactly that!
Despite being the life of the party, cork boards were not the only products standing out in the Meaningful Spaces collection that Bi-Office promoted in London Stationery Show. The combination boards (cork/whiteboard or cork/chalk) were also very popular. Cork details in your gallery wall make it stand out and to get an elegant and yet minimalistic style décor.
The Education Assortment
Bi-Office’s choice for the education market was also a winner. The Schoolmate collection, with its multi-coloured boards and laptops spark some visitor’s curiosity.
Indeed, many studies show that children stay more focused when they’re learning with multi-coloured tools, whether in classrooms or in playground activities. But despite the frame, were they any good? Bi-Office let the visitors decide that given them the chance to test these products and the feedback received quality wise was excellent.
This was the first time that Bi-Office exhibited at London Stationery Show and the result was extraordinary. Visitors were very interested and curious to know more about Bi-Office innovative and creative solutions and how they could combine these products to create a meaningful spaces, whether it is at home or at the office, in a corporate or educational environment. The future for visual communication is all about personalization and transforming the ambience and purpose of a spaces and Bi-Office products are already envisioning this.
